FIRST PHASE: The first phase of the swimming pool project was either replacing or removing the old damaged pool liner. Since the concrete underneath the old damaged pool liner was in great shape, the town opted to go ahead and just remove the old damaged pool liner and not replace it. The pool was then sandblasted, holes were filled, and the side walls were resurfaced. The next phase will be repainting the pool with an epoxy pool paint.

SECOND PHASE: The second phase is re-painting the pool with an epoxy pool paint. The epoxy pool paint creates a highly polished, hard and abrasion resistant surface, which in return provides an enhanced protection against water and chemical damage. In addition the epoxy pool paint repels algae from sticking to the floor and walls, as well as the steps. The pool surface will get three coats of the white epoxy pool paint, then the black lines for the swimming pool lanes on the floor and two targets on the north and south walls will be painted on as well.

THIRD/FINAL PHASE: The third/final phase is putting in the new LED lights and then filling the pool up with water.
